    El Chupacabra

Hi everyone, Long time I haven't posted

This is my version of the famous south American legend The El Chupacabra, the Goat Sucking vampire. A few months ago I met a friend, he told me that when he enters fights in Brazil they used to call him El Chupacabra, witch only got me to read more about it, and then interested to recreate my version of the creature.

This was sculpted on ZBrush, posed on Lightwave, Rendered on Modo.

    Hope you enjoy

I really like the chupacabra myth, your version is very cool, though I picture it a bit more animalistic in its body form. The skin coloring is really nice. Are the multi-colored highlights (more visible on his arms) more a result of lighting, or the skin shader and color?

Do you use Zbrush to create the UVs or Lightwave? Also what size do you export your maps to? Sorry, lots of questions.
You mean computers can do that?

    Great work as usual Khalid.Excellent...
My only note is that the chupacabra myth is about a four legged creature size of a small bear and not for a biped...but if you like to change the concept its all right for me.

It might be just me, but what is going on with his right hip? I can see a really shinny ab area, but the right hip just stands out as a single piece between the background and character. The whole thing looks nice to me, its just that area that pulls me in like a black hole.

That seems like quite a process! What made you choose to go that route? Why not render it in Lightwave since you are posing it there? Don't get me wrong, I'm also a fan of modo and have spent some time doing cool training videos for modo, but I am also a fan of as few steps as possible to the result.

    El Chupacabra

I just dont understand whats so dangerous about a creature that sucks on goats. Hell, Mr. Chupacabra is so much of a pussy that he feels the need to hide from everyone. Krampus would kram that pussy.

    Hkey
PS: u might ask me why the quotes,i'd say bcuz its still uncertain what animal sucked the Cabra's blood without leaving and blood left...with a very peculiar type of hole and all in the same area..anyways..
