cheers !
ps do wyou have bigger resolution ?
I love it ! You've done an exceptionally good job with the lighting and textures there
5 stars from me on this one
I love everything but the grapes. I love the crystal, the wine, the backdrop, the shading, the lighting, the concept...just those grapes need some polishing:
The grapes look a bit like "polished potatoes"...In other words, the skin looks to tick, not allowing light to get in and be shown on tbe back of them. Such a sharp and intense light on the left would cause such effect, and perhaps a more intense "frenel".
Take a pic of grapes being side-light, and see the result. Most probably you'll get some light being filtered the same way as light trough your fingers on top of a lamp.
Otherwise, its a great piece, I love..totally love that glass of wine...the mantle..wow, nice!..

yep, everything looks great except the grapes. add some sss to them.
Thanks guys.
Will definitely add some sss to the grapes and see if I can get them better, they've been called "mini sausages" on deviantart too. Might try putting some cheese in there too.
Excellent work.. love to see the update on the grapes...

Gotta agree with the grapes. Actually the best solution to this is to add a little SSS to them and voila fantastic grapes and a near perfect project!
My only other issue deals with doing something in post. Namely try creating a tonal gradient to mix into your image such that its a little dark on the image and a little lighter in the center then draw that gradient from left to right only at a slight angle from top to bottom, not much but a bit to align it with the light source. In the end that should give you more punch on the subjects and more mood to the background.

Nice work, I'll have to agree about the grapes but the glass and comp are excellent.

Fantastic! Your works are very good!
Great stuff! Yeah they could use more SSS and maybe a little more shine too. Perhaps crank up the luminosity of the windows/outside the windows, to make them punch through the reflections a little more?
Love the post effect too, does look like an old master!![]()

Amazing work, top notch. My only suggestion would be some SSS on the grapes to give that slight layer of translucency. Solid work though.

Thanks for the feedback all. I've updated the grapes and added a candle.
Uhm...I like it more without the candle! :P
Personal taste perhaps!
But I love the new grapes!
They are no more sausages!
Excellent!![]()
